Sales success accelerates Stonehill community growth
Bacchus Marsh continues to undergo tremendous growth with new residential developments recording strong sales; with none growing faster than Devine’s Stonehill community which is selling land as quickly as it is released.
Stonehill has sold more than 150 of the community’s 1,450 allotments since January, and over the past six months has been meeting demand from eager buyers by releasing at least one stage per month.
Devine’s General Manager, Marketing and Sales Warren Thomson said that the current sales cycle would lay the foundations for significant growth at Stonehill and was expected to continue through next year.
“The significant growth in demand for allotments at Stonehill can be credited to the current strong property market coupled with the development maturity of the Stonehill community,” Mr Thomson said.
“As a project in the western growth corridor, Stonehill has ticked all the boxes in terms of what buyers, particularly the entry level owner occupier market, are looking for in their first or next home.”
He said Stonehill provided a wide range of allotment sizes to suit every buyer, with affordable value and a convenient location to match.
“Compared to other developments in the west, Stonehill has set itself apart by offering undeniable value without having to compromise on being within reach of amenities demanded by today’s busy lifestyles,” he said.
Vacant allotments range from 275sqm to over 1,000sqm, and start from just $167,000. One of the community’s premier allotments sold last month for $414,000.
Mr Thomson said the allotments become even more attractive thanks to Victoria’s $20,000 Regional Home Buyers Grant.
With the Melbourne CBD being an easy drive on the Western Freeway or a 40-minute train trip away, Stonehill is already growing into a thriving community with a retail centre, child care centre, proposed swim school and private primary school being delivered at the community over the next three years.
Stonehill is expect to grow to some 4,200 residents upon completion.
